Interior Inspection Checklist
When you
buy
your
home: The 'walk through'.
Whether purchasing a new or used home at some time before occupancy you will want to check it out for deficiencies. Often the builder or seller will suggest a 'walk through' of the interior. This may be convenient for them and it may take only 20 minutes, but you could miss some very important deficiencies or flaws. The one page printable checklist table can be used as a handy crosscheck when inspecting the interior of your condo, house or townhouse. It is only a crosscheck for the interior and does not list details, nor does it consider the exterior. Using a qualified building inspector is usually recommended for all home purchases, especially for a house. Therefore this may be more useful as a condo 'walk through' checklist. Some
suggestions If possible, have a knowledgeable friend tag along. This can help finding flaws that you may overlook. Take along a pad and pen, and checklist. The Condo & Home Interior Inspection Checklist Table provides a one page crosscheck list of general items to look at for each room. It does not provide a detailed list of what to check for with each item and it only looks at the interior. You can print the table out for a reference. Use 2 sheets if you have too many rooms. This checklist table may not be complete or suitable to your needs and is not meant to replace a professional inspection.** ** |
